LaSalle Network is hiring for a Senior Accountant to join a high-performing North American finance team at a growing manufacturing organization. Reporting directly to the Controller, this Senior Accountant role is designed for someone who takes ownership, asks smart questions, and thrives under month-end pressure. If you’re energized by manufacturing environments, equipment-heavy operations, and complex accounting challenges, this is a role where you’ll make an immediate impact.
What’s the job?
- Own lease accounting for manufacturing-related assets, including forklifts, heavy equipment, and fleet vehicles
- Ensure lease recognition and compliance across all applicable accounting standards
- Lead monthly Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) filings with full accountability for accuracy and timeliness
- Manage high-volume balance sheet reconciliations during month-end close
- Prepare and post journal entries and support intercompany accounting activity
- Act as a key power user during the transition from Excel-based reporting to Oracle Hyperion
- Maintain integrity across P&L and Balance Sheet reporting under tight deadlines
What’s needed?
- 3–5 years of accounting experience, within a manufacturing environment
- At least 1+ year of high-volume balance sheet reconciliation experience
- Strong Excel skills; Oracle Hyperion experience is a plus
- Proven ability to investigate discrepancies and challenge results
- Clear, proactive communication style with a “no surprises” mindset
