This position has opened due to increased workload and purchasing activity, creating the need for additional support within the supply chain team.
Purchasing Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Prepare specifications and send supplier inquiries and quote requests
- Issue purchase orders and assist with expediting orders to ensure on-time delivery
- Conduct bid analysis and support invoice auditing for purchased materials
- Maintain purchasing documentation including bid requests, material requisitions, purchase orders, logs, reports, and tracking metrics
- Support cost control, change management, and procurement scheduling activities
- Collaborate with the Inventory team to maintain accurate pricing, stock levels, releases, and order status within the ERP system
- Ensure contract administration procedures are followed and executed professionally
Purchasing Coordinator Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, or Business Administration
- 1–2 years of purchasing experience required
- Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
- ERP system experience preferred (Jobscope experience is a plus)
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a target pay rate of $22–$25 per hour, depending on experience. The position requires completion of a drug screen and background check prior to employment.
