In this role, you will oversee the preparation, production, and finishing of printed creative assets, including posters and event signage. This role will ensure materials are on brand, print-ready, and produced to a high standard from initial file review through final mounting and display preparation.
This is an ongoing contract position, full-time hours, and 3 days onsite in the northern suburbs of Chicago.
What You’ll Do:
- Review incoming creative and scientific posters to ensure correct branding and print readiness
- Adjust files as needed to meet brand standards and print specifications
- Design and produce materials using Adobe Creative Suite
- Create directional signage and event signage, working from established templates
- Prepare files and manage printing production for posters and signage
- Operate signage press equipment, including selecting and changing paper based on project needs
- Perform finishing work including cutting signs to size, mounting posters on foam board, and trimming signage
- Manage ink and toner changes and maintain smooth press operation
- Create mockups and ensure final materials meet quality expectations
- At least 3 years of experience in print production and pre-press environments
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Hands-on experience with large-format printing or signage press operation
- Ability to review, adjust, and prepare files for print production
- Experience with cutting, mounting, trimming, and finishing signage
- Highly detail-oriented with strong quality control skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and production timelines
This position pays $35/hr-$38/hr based on experience and as a Consultant for LaSalle Network, you are eligible for benefits such as medical, dental, and vision.
