Payroll Administrator Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly payroll for a large and diverse workforce, ensuring accurate calculations of regular hours, overtime, commissions, bonuses, and other compensation elements
- Manage payroll-related changes, including new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, and benefit changes
- Ensure accurate deductions, including taxes, benefits, garnishments, and other withholdings
- Review and verify time and attendance records to ensure payroll accuracy before processing
- Analyze payroll data for trends, discrepancies, and inconsistencies to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external regulations
- Prepare detailed payroll reports for HR, finance, and management teams, including labor cost analysis, tax filings, and other ad-hoc payroll reports
- Provide insights and recommendations based on payroll data to improve cost efficiency and employee compensation practices
Payroll Administrator Requirements:
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work with complex payroll data
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies
- Proficient in handling sensitive and confidential payroll information with discretion
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle high volumes of payroll data and meet deadlines
