LaSalle Network is hiring a Payroll Accountant for a manufacturing company that has stood the test of time for 115 years. This Payroll Accountant role is ideal for someone who wants more than routine processing — you’ll influence payroll accuracy, support cost accounting initiatives and work directly with a Plant Controller.
As a Payroll Accountant, you’ll play a critical role in compliance, reporting and financial integrity across multiple business units.
What’s the job?

Own weekly multi-state payroll processing

Review wage calculations, deductions and garnishments

Investigate payroll discrepancies and tax inquiries

Prepare journal entries and reconcile payroll-related accounts

Maintain SAP cash postings and banking activity

Audit expense reports for compliance

Support product cost roll-ups and KPI reporting
What’s needed?

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
-
2+ years of payroll processing experience (exempt and non-exempt)
-
Strong understanding of wage and hour laws
-
General ledger and reconciliation experience

ADP Workforce Now experience preferred
-
SAP exposure a plus
-
Advanced Excel and analytical skills
