What's the job?

Reach out to patients and insurers to close open balances

Analyze account details to find errors, gaps or missed payments

Develop payment plans that work for both sides

Confirm insurance coverage and correct messy account details

Work directly with billing and clinical teams to resolve issues

Keep every note, update and task documented

Drive follow-up on unpaid claims and manage appeals

Ensure full compliance and protect patient confidentiality

Provide standout customer service
What's needed?

High school diploma required; associate degree preferred

Experience in medical billing, collections or reimbursement
-
Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance processes and billing codes

Proficient with billing software and Microsoft Office
-
Strong communicator with negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented with problem-solving abilities
- A team player who can also work independently
