This Human Resources Manager will partner directly with executive leadership, frontline teams and academic departments to deliver both strategic guidance and hands-on HR support. Human Resources Manager Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary HR Manager partner to assigned departments
- Lead high-volume Employee Relations investigations and performance matters
- Coach leaders through complex ER situations and recommend compliant solutions
- Support performance management processes and documentation
- Partner on succession planning and workforce strategy discussions
- Collaborate on visa/work authorization coordination
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience with strong Employee Relations focus
- Experience supporting executive leadership
- Strong performance management and talent development exposure
- Ability to operate strategically and tactically as an HR Manager
- Comfort working in manual, non-integrated systems
- Excellent project management and communication skills
- $50–$60/hour compensation
- This position offers a hybrid working model of four days on-site in downtown Chicago.
