As the Human Resources Business Partner, you will support a diverse employee population across multiple states while serving as a trusted advisor to site and operations leadership. You’ll blend strategic people leadership with hands-on execution to drive engagement, retention and performance in a fast-paced setting.
What’s the job?
- Act as a strategic Human Resources Business Partner to leaders on employee relations, workforce planning and organizational effectiveness
- Manage complex employee relations issues and lead thorough, objective investigations
- Provide coaching and guidance on performance management, development plans and corrective action
- Partner with site leaders to improve engagement, morale, productivity and retention
- Support and execute local talent management and people development initiatives
- Oversee onboarding and ensure a seamless day-one experience in partnership with IT, security and talent acquisition
- Maintain strong onsite presence across Delavan and Peoria locations
- Lead and support evolving HR initiatives aligned with business needs
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or Human Resources Business Partner
- Experience supporting multi-site or operational workforces strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of HRIS and ATS systems
- Strategic, solutions-oriented mindset with strong relationship-building skills
- $40–$50 per hour contract-to-hire opportunity
