LaSalle Network is hiring for an Human Resources Generalist to support a global, sustainability-driven food manufacturing organization located in Eddystone, PA on a contract to hire basis. This Human Resources Generalist role is ideal for a hands-on HR professional who thrives in a plant environment and enjoys being a trusted partner to both leadership and employees. The Human Resources Generalist will play a critical role in day-to-day HR operations while contributing to employee engagement, compliance, and workforce development initiatives. This is a fast-moving opportunity for a Human Resources Generalist ready to make an immediate impact.
What’s the job?
- Serve as the on-site Human Resources Generalist supporting plant operations and employee relations
- Act as a key HR partner for managers and employees, providing guidance on policies and compliance
- Lead recruiting efforts for exempt and non-exempt roles, including sourcing, screening, and onboarding
- Manage employee records, timekeeping, and PTO tracking as a Human Resources Generalist
- Oversee leave administration (FMLA and other leaves of absence)
- Support employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and action planning
- Partner with leadership on performance management cycles and development planning
- Conduct employee relations activities including coaching, investigations, and disciplinary guidance
- Assist with audit readiness and maintain HRIS accuracy (ADP Workforce Now, SuccessFactors preferred)
- Collaborate with safety teams to support workplace compliance initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of OSHA, FMLA, and labor laws
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Experience with HRIS platforms (ADP preferred)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus
- Competitive hourly compensation ($35-40/hour)
