Facilities Manager
We are seeking a Facilities Manager to lead facilities operations for a large, multi-building manufacturing campus. The Facilities Manager plays a highly visible role within the organization, partnering closely with Operations, Engineering, and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) teams to maintain uptime, execute capital improvement projects, and support the continued growth and expansion of the facility.
This position offers a unique opportunity to step into a well-established operation and build on decades of institutional knowledge while helping shape the next phase of the site’s evolution. The ideal candidate is strategic, mechanically minded, and energized by solving complex facility challenges, with the ability to lead projects, manage vendors, and drive improvements that enhance reliability, safety, and operational performance.
As the organization continues to grow, this role will also have the opportunity to expand in scope and leadership responsibility, potentially overseeing additional facilities staff and maintenance personnel while helping modernize infrastructure and support long-term plant expansion.
Responsibilities:
- Lead facility operations including buildings, utilities, and grounds
- Oversee HVAC, compressed air, boilers, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems
- Troubleshoot facility-related issues impacting production
- Manage capital projects including expansions and infrastructure upgrades
- Manage facility budgets and vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and local regulations
Qualifications:
- Experience managing facilities in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of facility infrastructure systems (HVAC, electrical, utilities)
- Experience managing capital projects and contractors
- Strong budgeting and cross-functional collaboration skills
