Equipment Coordinator
Location: Lombard, IL (Hybrid)
Pay Rate: $22/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Position Type: Temporary with potential for permanent hire

Job Overview
Ready to launch your career in logistics and transportation? We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Equipment Coordinator to join a fast-paced shipping and transportation team in Lombard, IL. In this role, you will play a critical part in tracking, managing, and coordinating container operations while collaborating with vendors and internal teams. This hybrid position offers a balanced mix of remote and in-office work to support both flexibility and productivity.
Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with vendors and internal systems to ensure accurate equipment data

Coordinate container returns, address misuse issues, and manage street turn logistics

Support Maintenance & Repair (MNR) processes, including assisting with the sale of damaged containers

Track, monitor, and report lost or stolen equipment

Maintain organized records and support ongoing equipment management initiatives
Qualifications & Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum of 6 months of experience working with an ocean carrier

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong attention to detail

Strong organizational and communication skills

Collaborative mindset with a proactive, can-do attitude
