B2B Collections Specialist
Location: On-site (Oak Brook, IL – 5 days/ week)Employment Type: Contract (est. 3 months)
Compensation: Up to $30/hour (based on experience)

We’re partnering with a well-established company seeking a B2B Collections Specialist to support their Accounts Receivable team during a key transition period. This is a highly communication-driven role where you’ll manage a portfolio of accounts, follow up on outstanding invoices, and help ensure timely payment resolution while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of 200–300 B2B customer accounts, following up on outstanding invoices and payment status.
- Conduct outbound calls and emails to customers to drive resolution and secure payment timelines.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of all account activity, outreach, and updates.
- Support the AR team with administrative tasks such as pulling invoice copies, saving statements, and assisting with account follow-ups.
Requirements
- 2+ years of B2B collections/ AR experience (required).
- Strong professional communication skills for high-volume phone and email follow-ups.
- Excel proficiency for tracking activity and documentation.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
