LaSalle Network has partnered with a smaller, private consumer lending company based in Oak Brook. They are seeking to hire a Collections Representative, that is driven, consistent, and is a results-oriented collector who can execute effectively within a structured collections environment.
- Location: 100% onsite in Oakbrook, IL
- Compensation: $20-$23/hr pending experience
- Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision
- Training (Weeks 1–2):
- Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Post-Training Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 P
- Saturday Requirement:
- Once fully trained, this role requires working two Saturdays per month (10:00 AM – 3:00 PM).
The Collections Representative will support first-party collections across early, mid, and late-stage delinquency. This role is ideal for someone who brings experience and consistency, while remaining flexible and coachable in a fast-growing fintech environment.
The ideal candidate thrives in a performance-driven setting and is focused on resolution, compliance, and efficiency.
Key Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in first-party collection
- Experience working within delinquency buckets (15–29, 30–59, 60–120 DPD
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skill
- Execution-focused mindset with a strong emphasis on consistency and result
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Adaptable, coachable, and motivated to grow within a scaling organization
- Comfortable working in a metrics-driven, performance-based environment
- Execute strategies across early intervention, mid-stage resolution, and late-stage negotiation
- Proactively engage customers to prevent account roll-forward
- Obtain verbal ACH authorization in compliance with company policies
- Follow call workflows and support a transition toward one-call resolution
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance in all interactions
- Meet daily and weekly performance metrics, including:
- Accounts worked
- Contact quality
- Payment arrangements secured
- Identify workflow gaps and provide feedback to improve operational efficiency
