This contract-to-hire role offers hands-on experience, hybrid flexibility and the chance to make a real impact on the organization’s financial operations.
The ideal Cash Applications Specialist is detail-driven, proactive and comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
What’s the job?

Apply customer payments and cash receipts with precision

Reconcile accounts and resolve payment discrepancies
-
Track and document deductions and unapplied cash
-
Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to streamline processes
-
Assist with month-end close and reporting deliverables
-
Deliver high-quality service to internal and external partners
What’s needed?

2–3 years of cash applications or accounts receivable experience
-
Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software
-
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
-
Ability to manage high-volume work efficiently and accurately
-
Availability for a hybrid schedule in Schaumburg
