LaSalle Network is hiring a Business Analyst to support a growing finance organization in Skokie, IL. This Business Analyst will translate data into decisions, automate manual workflows, and build Power BI reporting that leadership relies on daily. If you’re energized by solving problems, partnering with cross-functional teams, and using Python and SQL to level-up financial processes, this Business Analyst role offers the chance to make an impact quickly.
- Analyze product, customer, and sales data, including SKU counts, inflation trends, style ranking, 80/20 segmentation, and tariff analysis
- Fulfill custom ad-hoc reporting requests for finance leadership
- Prepare recurring reports such as Sales vs. GL, AR vs. Sales, and profitability scorecards
- Maintain and enhance the Apprise Profitability Scorecard
- Build customer and product-level profitability reporting packages for senior leaders
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cost maintenance, and Proforma template updates
- Automate recurring processes using Python and maintain governed Power BI dashboards
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, financial reporting, or business intelligence
- Degree in mathematics, computer science, information systems, or related field
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, Power BI, and Excel
- SQL experience joining tables, filtering data, aggregating results, and validating datasets
- Python skills for automation and data processing
- Power BI experience with multi-source connections, data modeling, and foundational DAX
- Familiarity with financial systems such as OneStream
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Strong communication, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Experience in retail or finance industries is a plus
