Battery Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections, testing, and grading of batteries or electrical systems to ensure proper functionality and performance.
- Conduct routine maintenance and ensure equipment is stored and handled according to manufacturer standards.
- Collect, record, and report system performance data and validation results.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, following all safety protocols and procedures.
- Prepare non-functional or end-of-life equipment for proper recycling or disposal.
- 1+ year of experience as a field service technician in the electrical power generation field, renewable energy, or with industrial battery systems
- Experience with commercial or utility scale EV or stationary energy storage systems
- Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and communication skills
