LaSalle Network is partnering with a growing distribution company in Glenview, IL, to bring on an Accounts Receivable Specialist. In this fast-paced role, you'll manage high-volume collections, resolve discrepancies, and ensure invoices are accurate and on time, all while making a real impact and growing your AR and collections experience.
Accounts Receivable Specialist – Responsibilities:
- Collect on past-due invoices via phone and email, apply payments, reconcile accounts, and resolve discrepancies such as short pays, overpayments, and duplicate payments.
- Review and process credit balances, assess orders on hold, and support credit evaluations.
- Monitor and maintain customer accounts, documenting collection status, communications, and obtaining proof of deliveries (PODs) as needed.
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Operations to resolve billing and payment issues.
- Support month-end reporting, reconciliations, and other tasks as assigned.
Accounts Receivable Specialist – Requirements:
- 2+ years of B2B collections or Accounts Receivable experience:
- Experience managing at least $500k–$1M in monthly collections.
- Familiarity with Oracle, AS400, SAP, or similar ERP systems.
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
- High school diploma or GED required, additional education a plus.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented, team player, dependable, and proactive.
