What's the job?
- Develop and prepare detailed electrical work packages for maintenance, modification, and project activities
- Perform field walkdowns to evaluate job scope, access requirements, materials, and execution strategies
- Review drawings, procedures, specifications, and technical documentation to support work package development
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, maintenance, supply chain, and project teams to ensure successful execution
- Identify and procure materials required for planned work activities
- Prepare supporting documentation including permits, safety reviews, clearance requirements, and operational impact assessments
- Ensure all planned work complies with site procedures, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
- Participate in scheduling meetings, risk assessments, troubleshooting efforts, and work control reviews
- Support implementation of equipment modifications and capital improvement projects
- Develop detailed work instructions that promote safe, efficient, and high-quality execution
What's needed?
- One of the following:
- Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of relevant technical experience
- Associate degree and 8+ years of relevant technical experience
- High school diploma/GED, technical apprenticeship, and 6+ years of relevant technical experience
- High school diploma/GED and 10+ years of relevant technical experience
- Experience in maintenance, engineering, operations, maintenance planning, or related technical disciplines
- Strong electrical maintenance, electrical systems, or electrical engineering background
- Experience developing detailed work packages, job plans, or maintenance procedures
- Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and troubleshooting practices
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with computer systems and technical documentation management
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a highly regulated environment
