LaSalle Network is partnering with a growing food manufacturing organization to hire a Temporary QMS Manager to support quality systems, regulatory compliance, food safety programs, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role will play a key part in maintaining quality management processes, supporting supplier and customer quality programs, managing technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented quality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys collaborating across multiple functions to drive operational excellence.

What's the job?

  • Support quality management system (QMS) activities and maintain quality documentation and records

  • Assist with regulatory compliance initiatives and audit readiness efforts

  • Manage supplier quality documentation, certifications, and compliance records

  • Support customer quality programs, including portal updates and documentation requests

  • Investigate customer complaints and internal quality issues and support corrective and preventive action programs

  • Conduct root cause analysis and track quality trends and performance metrics

  • Maintain and improve standard operating procedures and quality system documentation

  • Support food safety and quality programs through ongoing monitoring and reporting

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives

 

What's needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Quality Assurance, or a related scientific field

  • 3+ years of experience in quality, food safety, regulatory, or technical roles within food manufacturing, food ingredients, dairy, or consumer packaged goods environments

  • Experience with HACCP, FSMA, FSVP, and Quality Management Systems

  • Strong understanding of specification management and document control processes

  • Experience supporting supplier quality and customer quality programs

  • Knowledge of audit preparation, regulatory compliance, and food safety programs

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience with microbiology, sensory evaluation, or food safety systems is a plus
