LaSalle Network is hiring an Inpatient Facility Coder for a high-performing healthcare client seeking skilled coders who thrive in a flexible, production-driven environment. This Inpatient Facility Coder role offers strong hourly pay, a quick interview process and the opportunity to work with leading tools like EPIC and 3M 360.
What’s the job?
- Code inpatient medical records using ICD-10-CM and PCS
- Maintain productivity of 2 inpatient accounts per hour
- Ensure 95% coding accuracy and compliance standards
- Validate coding to support accurate reimbursement
- Utilize EPIC and 3M 360 for coding workflows
- Collaborate with internal teams for documentation clarification
What’s needed?
- AHIMA certification required (RHIT, RHIA or CCS)
- 2+ years of inpatient coding experience
- Strong understanding of inpatient coding guidelines
- Ability to meet productivity and quality benchmarks
- Experience with EPIC and/or 3M 360 (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
