LaSalle Network is hiring on behalf of a leading financial services organization seeking a Procurement Specialist to join their Global Procurement & Supplier Management team. This individual will provide hands-on, execution-focused procurement support across multiple spend categories, including technology, facilities, and travel & expenses. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Legal, Finance, and Compliance.

This position has opened as a temporary backfill to support ongoing procurement operations during a six-month coverage period.

Procurement Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Execute day-to-day contracting and purchasing activities across multiple spend categories
  • Manage and monitor the Travel Inbox, addressing daily inquiries and issues
  • Process procurement intake, purchase requisitions, approvals, purchase orders, and invoices in alignment with company policies
  • Coordinate contract reviews, approvals, and execution in partnership with Legal, Information Security, Privacy, and Finance teams
  • Maintain accurate supplier, contract, and spend data across procurement and contract lifecycle management systems
  • Support the Hotel RFP program, including supplier research, response coordination, and pricing analysis
  • Review and process invoices related to tax exemptions as needed
  • Assist in managing the corporate credit card program
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and suppliers on procurement-related matters
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across procurement workflows, documentation, and reporting

Procurement Specialist Requirements:

  • 2–5 years of experience in procurement operations, sourcing support, contract administration, or finance
  • Hands-on experience processing purchase orders, contracts, and invoices in a corporate environment
  • Experience collaborating with Legal, Finance, and compliance teams to facilitate contract execution
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP and/or contract management systems
  • Experience supporting audits, renewals, or procurement reporting is a plus
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels

This is a 6-month contract opportunity based in Chicago, IL, with a hybrid schedule (4 days onsite, 1 day remote). The anticipated start date is May 4, 2026 or sooner if possible. This role offers the opportunity to gain exposure to a global procurement function within a collaborative and fast-moving environment.  The pay for this role is $40/hour and offers medical and dental benefits.
