LaSalle Network is hiring on one of the country's largest healthcare organiations, seeking a HRIS Specialist.  This role plays an integral role within the HR team, overseeing all aspects of the HRIS platform (UKG/UltiPro) and acting as the primary resource for daily system operations. This role manages the complete employee data lifecycle, including onboarding, updates, and changes within the system.

HRIS Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary administrator for the HRIS platform (UKG/UltiPro), managing day-to-day system operations and support

  • Oversee the full employee data lifecycle, including onboarding, updates, changes, and data maintenance within the HRIS

  • Collect, organize, and analyze HR data to support strategic decision-making and organizational initiatives

  • Manage enterprise reporting requirements, including AAP (Disabled Workers and Veterans), EEO-1 filings, and other cross-functional data projects

  • Design, administer, and analyze employee surveys to gather insights and improve engagement

  • Research and implement innovative solutions, including AI-driven tools, to enhance the employee experience

  • Configure and optimize HR systems to align with evolving business needs and improve operational efficiency

  • Develop and generate reports supporting key HR functions such as total rewards, compliance, performance management, and workforce analytics

HRIS Specialist Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience: 7+ years in lieu of degree)
  • Minimum of 2 years of HRIS experience
  • Experience working with UKG (UltiPro) preferred
  • Hands-on experience managing HR and payroll data across the full employee lifecycle 
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau
  • Familiarity with survey platforms like Qualtrics
  • Strong experience working with large datasets, including data integration, comparison, and presentation in clear, user-friendly formats
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Collaborative mindset with strong teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms and advanced Excel functions (including VLOOKUP and pivot tables)
  • Strong analytical capabilities, with experience building dashboards and reports that support business insights and decision-making
  • Solid understanding of HR processes and best practices
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, interpersonal skills, and capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, work independently, and maintain attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365

Pay: $65,000-75,000 annually
Location: Downtown Chicago, 2 days on-site, 3 days remote
