The Assistant Director will work closely with prospective students, academic departments, and internal partners to support enrollment goals while delivering a strong candidate experience.
Assistant Director of Admissions Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end admissions process for assigned graduate programs, including inquiry management, application review, and admissions decision support
- Conduct outreach and recruitment activities with prospective students through virtual events, information sessions, and one-on-one advising
- Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective graduate students, guiding them through the admissions process
- Utilize Slate CRM to track prospective student engagement, manage application pipelines, and maintain accurate records
- Review graduate applications and coordinate with academic departments on admissions decisions
- Support enrollment initiatives and collaborate with marketing and academic teams to achieve recruitment targets
- Analyze admissions funnel metrics and contribute to strategies that improve conversion and yield
Assistant Director of Admissions Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- 3–6+ years of admissions experience, preferably supporting graduate programs
- Experience using Slate CRM or similar admissions systems
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with prospective students and internal stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet application cycle deadlines
- Experience supporting recruitment events and admissions outreach initiatives
Pay: $28-30/hr
