LaSalle Network is hiring an Accounting Specialist for a growing organization in Skokie, IL. This Accounting Specialist opportunity is ideal for someone early in their accounting career who wants hands-on experience supporting financial operations while gaining exposure to reporting, reconciliations and process improvements.
The Accounting Specialist will work cross-functionally with internal teams and offshore partners to ensure accurate financial reporting and smooth day-to-day accounting operations. If you are a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist who enjoys solving problems, improving processes and working in a collaborative environment, this role offers strong visibility and room for growth.
What will I do as the Accounting Specialist?

Reconcile cash receipts from bank activity to ERP systems

Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and month-end support

Support working capital and financial reporting initiatives

Provide issue resolution and coordination with offshore teams

Submit new customer and vendor requests and obtain Euler credit ratings

Assist with compliance and financial reporting processes

Support credit and collections reporting activities
-
Identify opportunities for accounting process improvements

Assist with ad hoc accounting and finance requests
What’s needed to be successful as an Accounting Specialist?

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
-
1+ year of relevant accounting or finance experience

Strong Microsoft Excel skills and ERP system experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team

Results-oriented mindset and strong attention to detail
