LaSalle Network is hiring an Accounts Payable Analyst for a fast-moving team based in Downtown Chicago. This Accounts Payable Analyst contract role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving problems, spotting inconsistencies and taking ownership of their workflow.
The team needs more than someone who can simply process invoices — they’re looking for an Accounts Payable Analyst who investigates discrepancies, asks questions and takes initiative to keep processes moving forward. If you enjoy digging into financial details and identifying where something doesn’t add up, this opportunity was built for you.
What’s the job?

Process 100+ invoices per week in a digital-first accounts payable environment
-
Review invoices, prepaids and expense submissions for accuracy and coding alignment
-
Investigate discrepancies and resolve invoice or GL coding issues independently
-
Work within AP and expense systems such as NetSuite, Ramp, Concur or similar platforms
-
Maintain accurate vendor records and payment schedules
-
Monitor workflow bottlenecks and proactively communicate updates to leadership
-
Support month-end close activities related to AP

Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and workflow efficiency
What’s needed?
-
Previous experience as an Accounts Payable Analyst, AP Specialist or similar role
-
Ability to process 100+ invoices weekly in a digital environment
-
Strong analytical thinking and investigative mindset
-
Highly detail-oriented with the ability to catch invoice discrepancies
-
Familiarity with NetSuite, Ramp, Concur or other modern AP platforms
-
Strong Excel skills for reconciliation and tracking
-
Self-starter who manages time effectively and communicates workflow challenges
-
Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with occasional onsite collaboration
