The right Accounting Manager is more than a technical accountant—they’re a builder. This Accounting Manager will help scale accounting processes, drive automation initiatives and partner with leadership to improve financial workflows. The Accounting Manager will also lead a team of two accountants supporting AP, AR and tax operations.

What You’ll Do – Accounting Manager

Lead and develop two accountants supporting transactional accounting and close activities

Manage month-end close and ensure accurate financial reporting

Oversee treasury operations, cash management and receivables performance

Supervise AP, AR and credit/collections functions

Strengthen accounting controls and improve operational processes

Drive automation and accounting workflow improvements

Serve as a systems leader and partner with the ERP provider

Help lead the annual ERP upgrade and system improvements

Monitor multi-state sales tax processes and compliance
What We’re Looking For – Accounting Manager

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
-
Proven experience in an Accounting Manager or senior accounting leadership role

Demonstrated career progression and internal promotions

Strong ERP systems knowledge and systems mindset
-
Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities under pressure

Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
-
Experience with treasury, receivables and accounting controls

Multi-state sales tax knowledge preferred

Curiosity around AI tools and automation
