Interim HR Generalist Responsibilities:
- Conduct employee relations investigations, grievances, and corrective actions across union and non-union populations
- Support terminations, including documentation and guidance for managers
- Manage STD claims, HR tickets, and daily HR operational tasks
- Draft and send employment offers and related employment documents
- Serve as a trusted HR partner to managers on performance, policy, and employee issues
- Triage and resolve high-volume HR tasks efficiently
- Provide support across manufacturing operations and limited retail locations
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or Interim HR professional
- Strong employee relations and investigation background
- Comfortable working with union and non-union employees
- Ability to step in quickly with minimal training and get things moving immediately
- High emotional intelligence, resilience, and discretion
- Organized, responsive, and execution-focused
- Competitive pay: $35–$40/hr
