LaSalle Network is hiring on behalf of a thriving commercial real estate investment firm seeking a Head of Human Resources, Talent & Culture. This role serves as a senior leader responsible for shaping and advancing internal programs and initiatives that promote a people-focused, high-performing workplace.

The Head of Human Resources, Talent & Culture is centered on building an inclusive, engaged, and productive organizational culture while ensuring strong operational HR support. Acting as the sole HR professional within the organization, the Director will manage daily HR functions while also developing long-term strategies to attract, grow, and retain exceptional employees.

Head of Human Resources, Talent & Culture Responsibilities:

  • Execute forward-thinking human resources strategies that support business objectives and strengthen employee engagement, fairness, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Manage the full hiring process, including workforce planning, recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • ???????Collaborate with external recruiting partners when needed and ensure new team members have a smooth and welcoming introduction to the company.
  • Identify development needs across the organization and implement training programs to build skills and leadership capabilities.
  • ???????Maintain and optimize internal learning tools, including the Trainual platform, and work closely with management to support career development.
  • Evaluate market trends to ensure competitive pay practices.
  • Design and administer compensation programs and serve as the primary internal resource for employee benefits management.
  • Partner with managers and leaders to improve team effectiveness through coaching, feedback, and performance development.
  • Organize company events and activities that encourage collaboration and morale.
  • Create recognition initiatives that celebrate employee contributions and important milestones.
  • Ensure all HR practices comply with applicable laws and regulations. 
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team, contributing to strategic planning and helping guide decisions that impact company growth and long-term success.

Head of Human Resources, Talent & Culture Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree or higher level of education required.
  • 7+ years of Human Resources experience
  • Demonstrated experience independently leading and managing all functions of a full-service Human Resources department.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR functions, including recruitment, compensation, benefits, training, and employee relations.
  • Industry knowledge of real estate, property management preferred, not required.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and trustworthiness.
  • Demonstrated success managing priorities in a high-energy, growth-oriented environment

This position is based in Oak Brook, IL and requires being on-site 4 days per week. The compensation for this role ranges from $100,000-120,000 and offers a competitive bonus plan. Full benefits provided included health/dental/vision, 401k plan and unlimited PTO.
