A global, sustainability-driven food manufacturing company is seeking an Interim Human Resources Generalist to join its team in Robinson, IL. As part of a people-first leadership team, you’ll serve as a key business partner—managing day-to-day HR operations, supporting employee relations, driving engagement, and championing compliance across a dynamic manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do:
- Serve as an on-site HR partner, supporting plant operations and employee needs
- Provide guidance on benefits, policies, employment law, and compliance
- Lead exempt and non-exempt recruiting efforts, including job postings, screening, and onboarding
- Manage employee records, timecards, and paid time off tracking
- Oversee leave administration (FMLA, personal leaves, etc.)
- Partner with the ES&H team to support safety initiatives
- Drive employee engagement and retention through surveys, feedback, and action planning
- Guide and support performance management cycles, including goal-setting and development plans
- Lead employee relations efforts including coaching, investigations, and discipline guidance
- Identify training needs and help implement development solutions
- Support audit readiness and ensure HRIS accuracy (ADP Workforce Now and SuccessFactors preferred)
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field (or equivalent HR experience)
- 3–5 years of HR experience, ideally within a food manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of OSHA, FMLA, and Federal/NC labor laws
- Strong communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ADP and HRIS platforms preferred
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism
- Comfortable navigating sensitive situations and providing thoughtful HR guidance
