Accounts Receivable Specialist Responsibilities
- Own collections and accounts receivable processes for assigned customer accounts
- Apply payments, reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Communicate with customers to collect outstanding balances
- Investigate short payments, deductions and billing issues
- Prepare invoices, aging reports and account reconciliations
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve disputes
- Maintain accurate account documentation and notes
- Assist with audit preparation and reporting
- 2+ years in accounts receivable or related accounting role
- Proven success managing high-volume transactions
- Strong Excel and ERP experience
- Clear, professional communication skills
- Ability to work on-site as part of a hybrid schedule
- Chicagoland residency required
