LaSalle Network is hiring on behalf of one of Chicago's leading food services companies, seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist due to growth. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for end-to-end recruiting for a variety of corporate and field roles. This role partners closely with senior leaders to forecast hiring needs, execute proactive sourcing strategies, and leverage recruiting technology and data to drive informed hiring decisions.

The ideal candidate brings at least three years of recruiting experience, is comfortable balancing hands-on sourcing with strategic workforce planning, and thrives in a fast-paced, distributed workforce environment.

Talent Acquisition Specialist Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for field-based and operational roles, from intake through offer and onboarding coordination
  • Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies, including direct sourcing, referrals, job boards, and community-based recruiting efforts
  • Partner with senior leaders and hiring managers to understand workforce needs, provide market insights, and align on hiring priorities
  • Forecast hiring demand based on business growth, turnover trends, seasonality, and operational needs
  • Leverage ATS and recruiting technologies to track pipeline health, generate reports, and analyze recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and hiring trends
  • Prepare and present clear, data-driven insights to HR leadership and business stakeholders
  • Ensure a consistent, positive candidate experience, particularly for field and hourly populations
  • Maintain compliance with employment laws, company policies, and internal hiring standards
  • Continuously evaluate and improve recruiting processes to increase efficiency and quality of hire

Talent Acquisition Specialist Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruiting
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting field-based, hourly, or frontline workers in industries such as food distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or related sectors
  • Strong sourcing skills, including direct sourcing and pipeline development
  • Experience leveraging ATS platforms and recruiting technology to generate reports and analyze data; ADP experience preferred
  • Ability to forecast hiring needs and translate business plans into recruiting strategies
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional partners
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with high-volume or seasonal hiring models
  • Experience supporting geographically dispersed workforces

This position offers a hybrid working model in Lombard, IL and requires up to 10% travel. The position can pay between $70,000-80,000 with bonus eligibility. Full benefits including health, dental and vision are provided.
