LaSalle Network is hiring a Maintenance Manager for a nationally recognized food manufacturer in Cherokee, Iowa. This Maintenance Manager will play a critical role in ensuring smooth daily plant operations by leading maintenance teams, driving preventive maintenance programs, and improving equipment reliability across the facility. Maintenance Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance technicians with a focus on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Design and execute maintenance strategies to reduce downtime and increase equipment reliability.
- Leverage CMMS tools to manage work orders, inventory, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Oversee HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems (high and low voltage) to ensure compliance.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities to identify improvement opportunities.
- Manage capital projects, including equipment installs and facility upgrades.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings for troubleshooting.
- Champion safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
- 10+ years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing environment
- Prior leadership experience at the supervisory or managerial level
- Strong mechanical and electrical expertise
- Proven ability to motivate, lead, and develop high-performing teams
This is a direct hire opportunity that requires a fully on-site schedule in Cherokee, Iowa. This position offers a pay range between $120,000 to $130,000 annually. Benefits offered include medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, a 401k and match program, and PTO/vacation time.
