Tech professionals are strategic business partners and integral to shaping a vision for the future, making non-technical skills critical. As the business and tech landscape shifts, here's a long-term look at the soft skills you’ll need in 2019 and beyond.

Key in-demand soft skills for tech professionals:

Communication: Be able to make the business case for your team and articulate your projects to a variety of stakeholders, whether they’re familiar with technology or not. If you can't communicate to a lay-person how your technology or project will benefit a company, you'll struggle to scale your career.
