Happy 3rd Rebirthday, Maddie and Beth!

Maddie 3rd Rebirthday - LaSalle NetworkHow old are you at LaSalle?

MS: THREE!

BO: I'm 3 this year.

What has been your professional progression at LaSalle?

MS: I started as a Project Manager with the Executive Search team, which at the time included Accounting & Finance, Marketing and HR – but I have always focused on HR recruiting. Now each of those areas are separate units, and a few months ago I was promoted to Senior Project Manager for the HR recruiting team.

BO: I have been an Executive Assistant for our CEO, Tom, since I began.

What is your first memory of LaSalle?

MS: I came to LaSalle for the first time to meet with someone on Megan Hutton's 5th Rebirthday. I got to meet Megan that day too, and I felt like I was meeting a celebrity! Now I celebrate her Rebirthday a little bit for myself every year, since it was the first time I fell in love with this place!

BO: I remember running into our CRO, Maureen Hoersten, and mentioning I may start looking for a job. I was hired two days later!

What is your favorite thing about working at LaSalle?Beth's 3rd Rebirthday

MS: The people: it’s not cliché when it's true. I love coming to a place with amazing leadership that encourages everyone to strive to be better than what he or she believes to be their best. I love working alongside really smart, funny, passionate, compassionate and hard-working people who treat one another with love and respect.

BO: Everyone here is genuinely nice.

What does LaSalle mean to you?

MS: I have typed out and deleted about 12 different answers, so I think the best and most encompassing thing to say is that it’s home.

What has been your proudest moment at LaSalle?

MS: Winning LaSallian of the Year this year. Hands down.

BO: I am proud every day when I see the emails about candidates being placed at clients. Even though it happens every day, I often think about how someone has a new job (or a job at all if they were unemployed), and what it means to them and their families. People need jobs, and we're helping them.

Beths Rebirthday Photo - Beth and Goo on PlaneWhat do you hope to conquer in the next 365 days?

MS: First I want to conquer the #BQE (Best Quarter Ever), and then making 2016 the #BestYearEver. And I want the HR team to continue to grow, grow, grow!

BO: I hope to support the growth and future of LaSalle.

What does celebrating a Rebirthday mean to you?

MS: As most people here know, I LOVE Rebirthdays and will literally elbow people out of the way to be the first to give someone their Rebirthday hug! Every single Rebirthday is a reminder for me of how much I love working here.

BO: A Rebirthday is an opportunity to be grateful.

What has been the most unexpected thing about LaSalle?

MS: It's unexpected that we’re the same company we say we are. LaSalle talks the talk and walks the walk, and that’s something not a lot of other organizations can say with certainty or consistency. You will work hard, you will get the support and coaching you ask for and need, and you will be challenged and pushed. You’ll also make friends, go to battle for one another, and celebrate successes of all shapes and sizes.

BO: How time goes by so fast; I can’t believe it’s been three years!

What's your spirit animal?HR Team - Balloons - LaSalle Network

MS: My best friend tells me it’s a Sun Bear, but can it be the LaSalle briefcase? Just kidding. Sort of. Not really.

BO: I'm an owl.

Anything else you want to share?

MS: Something I love about my Rebirthday that isn’t totally related to LaSalle is that it’s the same day that Starbucks comes out with their red holiday cups every year. Two things I love in the same day every year :)
