What has been your professional progression at LaSalle?
I started off as a temporary recruiter and was promoted after one month. Once I learned the in's and out's of recruiting, I was promoted again to a Project Manager and have been in this role ever since!
What is your first memory of LaSalle?
My first memory is that everything moved FAST- watching my co-workers run to their desks to pick up client calls, and then closing business! While it may have seemed a bit intimidating at first, it was the most energetic atmosphere I've been in and it definitely gave me the motivation to be on the same track as them.
What is your favorite thing about working at LaSalle?
There are too many! But if I could hone it down, I would say the people. I have never felt more encouraged, challenged, and supported in my career; and I always walk out of the office with a smile on my face because of the people I get to work with every day.
What does LaSalle mean to you?
LaSalle is a place that genuinely cares about you, your success, and each other. A day never goes by when my coworkers aren't willing to lend a helping hand. I can confidently say I hear the words, "Do you need any help?" from my peers every single day. And while we do like some friendly competition here at LaSalle, it is purely for motivating each other to do better and to be better.
What has been your proudest moment?
My proudest moment at LaSalle had to be when I got my first placement! It was the greatest feeling closing my first order and getting to experience the process behind it. I'm pretty sure the entire building heard me shouting for joy that day.
What do you hope to conquer in the next 365 days?
I hope to push myself and my team to do more than what we accomplished in the previous 365 days. That means closing more business, making more calls, creating more meaningful connections, and having even more fun than we did last year.
What does celebrating a rebirthday mean to you?
A rebirthday means getting flooded with more love in one working day than you can ever imagine. Whether it's the green and white balloons, treats, hug trains, or speeches, it is a reflection of how much I was able to accomplish in the past year and how much more I can achieve in the year to come.
What has been the most unexpected thing about LaSalle?
How creative we can get with the way we do business. Even after almost 17 years of being in this industry, it is amazing to see how we are able to generate new ideas and share our talents with the Chicagoland area.
What's your spirit animal?
I'm not sure if this would count as a "spirit" animal, but I'd be either a giraffe or a penguin: easygoing, carefree, and always loves to be the life of the party!
Anything else you want to share?
A huge thank you to everyone who has supported me for the past 2 years here, and cheers to the next 365!
