Happy 1st Rebirthday, Michael Griffin!

Michael Griffin RebirthdayHow old are you at LaSalle?

1 year old!

What has been your professional progression at LaSalle?

I had a transition after three months from Business Development to Account Management, then back to Business Development for the past four months. It gave me exposure to new types of organizations and allowed me to get a front row view to watch our Managing Directors of Sales work with clients.

What is your first memory of LaSalle?

My first memory of LaSalle is training with my quadruplet "siblings" - my coworkers who share my rebirthday - and Kasey, our Office Manager. I remember thinking, "I'm not sure who this Kasey is or what her role is at LaSalle, but she works so hard." We all took the lead and worked hard to learn as much about LaSalle as we could.

What is your favorite thing about working at LaSalle?

The collaboration. We're all part of a bigger thing here and it's great to see the growth happen internally.

What does LaSalle mean to you?

Hard work pays off.

What has been your proudest moment at LaSalle?

My first client. I remember going to the meeting, having a great conversation, and coming back thinking "I just got a new client!"

What do you hope to conquer in the next 365 days?

I want to be the Producer of the Quarter, and I want to become a Senior Business Development Manager.

What does celebrating a rebirthday mean to you?

Celebrating a rebirthday means it's Q4 again... which means it's crunch time!

What has been the most unexpected thing about LaSalle?

I've found myself involved with associations and groups I never expected to be. The connections I'm making with experienced business people in Chicago is a surreal feeling after only one year.

What's your spirit animal?

Red panda.

Anything else you want to share?

For those who are newer than me, it's important to remember LaSalle has had so much success before you. It's not easy, but checking your pride at the door and following the system LaSalle Network has implemented will lead to success. If you see a problem, bring a solution. New ideas are welcomed, but the foundation of the company is solid.
