Happy 1st Rebirthday, Lina!

Lina Rassas 1st RebirthdayHow old are you at LaSalle?

1!

What has been your professional progression at LaSalle?

I’ve been a Project Manager on our Suburban Services Team in Oak Brook.

What is your first memory of LaSalle?

I was on a trip from Arizona visiting my brother, and I decided to Google the top staffing and recruiting firms in the area. During my interview, the conversation evolved into the opportunity for me to work internally. Next thing I knew, I was on a plane to Chicago for good! My first interactions were so valuable and positive. The culture at LaSalle is so energizing and welcoming!

What is your favorite thing about working at LaSalle?

The people. Everyone wants everyone to succeed. The environment is both challenging and extremely rewarding.

What does LaSalle mean to you?

Teamwork and creativity. I love celebrating every single placement with my team. The collaboration is inspiring and motivating: LaSalle is truly a place to progress your career.

What has been your proudest moment at LaSalle?

Being a part of one of our team's biggest accounts... watching it continuously grow has been awesome.

What do you hope to conquer in the next 365 days?

I want to see my fabulous team meet and exceed our revenue goals - we have a great dynamic and I am excited for our progression as a unit!

What does celebrating a rebirthday mean to you?

Reflection and anticipation.

What has been the most unexpected thing about LaSalle?

The connections with my colleagues. I grew up in Arizona, and my family and network are still out there. Relocating from a different state is just as unsettling as it is exciting. I feel so fortunate to honestly say my co-workers are some of my best friends, and I have gained relationships that will last a lifetime.

What's your spirit animal?

According to the online quiz I took… I'm an owl!

Anything else you want to share?

The personal and professional growth has been fulfilling. The management team empowers you to make decisions, grow, and learn from your mistakes. The satisfaction that ensues is immeasurable.

Also, as a member of our Community Champions Committee, it has been humbling to see several LaSallians dedicate time to giving back!
