Happy 1st Rebirthday, Elizabeth!

How old are you at LaSalle?

Today, I turn one at LaSalle!newks

What has been your professional progression at LaSalle?

I did a very short project as a Field Employee before starting as an Office Assistant for our Chicago office. One month later I moved into my new role as a Project Manager for Technology Services. The rest is history!

What is your first memory of LaSalle ?

My first memory of LaSalle was walking in as a candidate and being interviewed by our Office Services team. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and I remember there was a lot of energy in the office. When I was offered an internal position, I was so excited to be a part of that!

What is your favorite thing about working at LaSalle?

The people, hands down. I work with the smartest, funniest, craziest group of people, and it's a place where I feel 100% comfortable being myself. I've never gone a day here without laughs, smiles, and high fives.

What does LaSalle mean to you?

LaSalle represents more than just personal and professional development to me. I'm happy to say that a year ago today I found a place to call home.

What do you hope to conquer in the next 365 days?

My goal is to become a more consistent producer. I'm also excited to help develop our newest members of TS and get them up to speed quickly so that we can continue growing our team.

What does celebrating a rebirthday mean to you?

Before I came to LaSalle, I taught English overseas for two years. It wasn't the right fit for me, and there were many days where I felt I was going through the motions for the sake of punching the clock. At LaSalle, I'm constantly being pushed to develop and better myself. A rebirthday isn't just a work anniversary to me; it represents 365 days of working my tail off.

What has been the most unexpected thing about LaSalle?

When I started on our Technology Services team, I was the newest person on a team of five, and less than a year later we've grown to 11. Outside of TS, every unit continues to grow, and now we have an office in San Francisco. It's thrilling to be a part of a growing company, and it's great that we've managed to maintain a strong culture even as we expand.

What's your spirit animal?

Velociraptor. Obviously.

Anything else you want to share?

I'm incredibly grateful to Tom, my Director, Blake, and my teammates and coworkers for all of their support, encouragement, and motivation this past year. I'm pumped to see what the next 365 days bring!
