Happy 1st Rebirthday, Brock Prunty!

IMG_8148How old are you at LaSalle?

I just turned 1!

What has been your professional progression at LaSalle?

I’ve been on our Research team, with my focus in Technology. This month I was promoted to Sr. Researcher. All of this within the past year!

What is your first memory of LaSalle?

My first interview at LaSalle was for an internal position. I didn’t know what role it would be but I first interviewed with the Manager (now Director) of Technology Services as well as a Team Lead (now Manager) of Research. It was a relaxed interview. The way they both described the culture of LaSalle Network and how LaSalle operates, I knew I wanted to be a part of it.

What is your favorite thing about working at LaSalle?

Being able to interact with people in multiple units. The collaboration and positivity within our company is unmatched. I love having this company culture: what we have at LaSalle can be always be imitated but it can never duplicated.

What does LaSalle mean to you?

To me, LaSalle means opportunity. All LaSallians have the opportunity to grow and advance their careers. We have the opportunity to work in a collaborative and friendly environment as well as having the opportunity to make a strong impact in people’s lives. Opportunity can mean different things to everyone.

What has been your proudest moment at LaSalle?

Being able to witness the growth of our Research team and hitting multiple all time highs this year. Adding to this, I’ve enjoyed seeing the growth of our Technology Services unit and having a “hand” in helping them succeed. It gives me a sense of excitement to be a part of the growth in both units.

What do you hope to conquer in the next 365 days?

I hope to not only be a consistent producer, but also to contribute to the growth of my current (and future) colleagues.

What does celebrating a rebirthday mean to you?

It means reflecting on the good times and bad. Reflecting on how I was able to grow as a LaSallian, and remembering all the challenges I faced.

What has been the most unexpected thing about LaSalle?

I think the most unexpected thing about LaSalle is the team-focused collaboration that occurs here. We’re able to freely speak to each other and generate new ideas if we hit a wall throughout the day. As we generate ideas and plans with our respective units, it makes hitting our unit and company goal a lot easier!
