Job Description

LaSalle Network has partnered with a global software company to find a Vice President of HR. The Vice President of HR is responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resources function. The ideal candidate will promote and implement human resource values by planning and managing human resources programs.

Vice President of HR Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the Global HR function overseeing the Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific
  • Counsel management and staff on employee relations issues, interpretation of company policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Responsible for ensuring all subsidiaries are within compliance
  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements and advising management on needed actions
  • Develop, recommend and implement HR policies and procedures
  • Develop organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contribute information, analysis and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction
  • Support executive management by providing human resources advice, counsel and decisions; analyze information and applications
  • Ensure consistency and alignment of subsidiary and departmental strategy with the overall corporate strategy and established governance
  • Provide overall leadership and guidance to the HR function by overseeing talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training, leadership development, compensation and benefits and meeting management
  • Strategize and implement global incentive and employee recognition systems

Vice President of HR Requirements: 
  • 10+ years of experience in HR, preferably within a technology company
  • Direct managerial experience required
  • Ability to work in a fast growing and demanding environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • All around team player with a work hard, play hard mentality
  • Detail-oriented, high-energy individual who is able to multitask
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic environment with a high degree of flexibility
  • Travel as required
