Training Director, Financial Planning

As the Training Director, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our client’s firm by designing and delivering world-class financial planning training for their client-facing advisors. You’ll align colleague development with their rapid client growth, making a tangible impact across the organization.

What You’ll Do:

• Serve as a firmwide thought leader in advanced financial planning, especially in income tax and estate planning

• Evaluate planning competencies and develop case studies that sharpen both technical and client-facing skills

• Create internal training materials and white papers for both education and client use

• Present regularly in firmwide sessions, sharing best practices and financial planning insights

• Partner across departments (tech, ops, and advisory) to integrate tools and elevate learning delivery

• Support advisors in complex client situations as a central subject matter expert

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Financial Planning, Business, or related field

• 5+ years of client-facing financial planning experience with high-net-worth individuals

• Expertise in retirement, estate, income tax, insurance, and executive comp planning

• Strong presentation and communication skills with proven project management capabilities

• Comfortable leading and mentoring experienced professionals across the firm

Bonus Points For:

• 2+ years of training, curriculum design, or teaching experience

• CFP®, CFA, and/or CPA designation

• Experience with tools like eMoney, Salesforce, Holistiplan, BNA, Addepar, Orion, and Cornerstone
