Our client, an international manufacturer for the automotive industry, is looking to hire a Purchasing Coordinator. This position provides growth opportunity with a global company that has been a long-term player in the automotive industry. The Purchasing Coordinator will be based in the southern suburbs of Chicago.
Purchasing Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Manage orders from the point of order entry through pricing, inventory fill and delivery requirements
- Negotiate vendor terms, prices and schedules
- Carry out warehouse, raw material and inventory control policies and procedures
- Coordinate product deliveries
Purchasing Coordinator Requirements:
- Experience in manufacturing industry preferred
- Proficiency in Excel
- High school diploma required
