Our client, a well-respected law firm in the Loop, is looking for a Temporary Legal Coordinator to support their Real Estate and Corporate Transaction attorneys. As a Temporary Legal Coordinator, you will be maintaining a large amount of documentation and records, assisting with contract administration, organizing the litigation tracking process, resolving daily legal issues and providing traditional administrative support.
This is an essential, specialized role that will expose you to multiple departments within a successful, fast-paced environment.
Temporary Legal Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Prepare and edit correspondence and other legal documents from written and oral drafts and forms, draft standard correspondence and email communications
- Proofread all documents and correspondence for accuracy
- Schedule meetings
- Respond to clients with any questions
- Perform legal research as needed to resolve basic legal issues
- Transcribe, copy, scan and provide general administrative support
- Prepare and edit correspondence and other legal documents from written and oral drafts and forms, draft standard correspondence, and email communications
Temporary Legal Coordinator Requirements:
- 3+ years of administrative experience within the legal field
- Prior real estate or corporate transaction law experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple demands
- Bachelor’s degree is a strong plus
