Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Vice President of Technology & Infrastructure to lead our client’s IT operations and infrastructure initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, networking, server management, end user support and managing a decentralized environment in collaboration with managed services providers.


SVP, Technology & Infrastructure Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee the technology and infrastructure functions, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and business needs
  • Provide strategic direction and thought leadership for IT operations, infrastructure and cloud initiatives
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive technology and infrastructure roadmap, considering best practices, emerging technologies and scalability requirements
  • Manage a team of technology professionals, providing mentorship, guidance and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation
  • Drive the adoption of cloud computing technologies and solutions to optimize performance, scalability and cost-efficiency
  • Oversee network design, implementation and maintenance to ensure secure and reliable connectivity across the organization
  • Manage server environments, ensuring high availability, performance and disaster recovery capabilities
  • Collaborate with managed services providers to deliver effective decentralized IT support and services
  • Define and enforce IT security policies, procedures and practices to safeguard sensitive information and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of IT systems, infrastructure and services, making continuous improvements to enhance operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including application development, security and business units, to align technology initiatives with business requirements
  • Stay current with industry trends, advancements in technology, and best practices to guide the organization's technology strategy
  • Prepare and present reports on IT operations, infrastructure performance and project updates to executive leadership

SVP, Technology & Infrastructure:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field; master's degree preferred
  • 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in IT leadership roles, including management of technology and infrastructure teams
  • Strong expertise in cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their integration into business processes
  • Extensive knowledge of networking technologies, server administration and IT security principles
  • Experience in managing decentralized IT environments and collaborating with managed services providers
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align technology initiatives with business goals
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CISSP) are a plus
