Job Description

LaSalle is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Associate to join our client that is based in Skokie, IL. In this entry-level position, you will play a crucial role in supporting the supply chain operations. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure the efficient flow of products from vendors to customers. Your responsibilities as a Supply Chain Associate will include assisting with inventory management, order processing, coordinating shipments and communicating with internal and external stakeholders. 

Supply Chain Associate Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in managing inventory levels and stock replenishment
  • Process and track customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment
  • Coordinate with vendors and logistics partners to schedule shipments and deliveries
  • Monitor order status and address any potential issues to ensure on-time delivery
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and update relevant databases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes
  • Provide support in data analysis and reporting to improve operational efficiency
  • Assist in resolving any supply chain-related discrepancies or inquiries
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain department
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to enhance your skills and knowledge

Supply Chain Associate Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and knowledge in using pivot tables and V-LOOKUP’s
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Basic understanding of supply chain concepts and processes is a plus
  • Enthusiasm to learn and grow within the supply chain field
