Superintendent

Our client, a national general contractor is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to oversee commercial, light industrial, and retail construction projects across multiple U.S. locations. This role requires daily on-site presence (Monday–Friday) and strong field experience to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to quality standards.

**This position is open to candidates that reside in the Midwest and are open to travel to job sites that are mostly in the Midwest region of the US. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate subcontractors, project managers, engineers, and trades to meet project goals

• Develop and enforce project schedules, including 3-week lookaheads

• Monitor site progress, quality, safety, and compliance with all regulations

• Oversee procurement of materials and equipment; manage deliveries and inventory

• Conduct weekly site and trade meetings; ensure documentation and reporting are up to date

• Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites at all times

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, preferably in a GC or field superintendent role

• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety standards

• Effective communicator with proven leadership skills

• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project)

• OSHA 30 certification preferred

• Willingness to travel and manage multiple project locations
