Position Summary:
Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join the Accounting team. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to build a strong foundation in accounting within the dynamic healthcare sector. You will assist with general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing journal entries and maintaining general ledger activity

• Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations

• Support the month-end and year-end close processes

• Help prepare financial statements and internal reports

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies

• Collaborate with internal teams to gather and validate financial data

• Support audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries

• Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 0–2 years of accounting experience; internships or part-time roles a plus

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software

• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and time management skills

• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
