LaSalle Network is hiring a Staff Accountant to join a well-established, fast-paced financial services firm with a strong broker-dealer platform. You'll work closely with accounting leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and seamless ledger management. Immediate availability preferred—we're moving fast!
Staff Accountant Responsibilities:

Handle day-to-day general ledger tasks including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals

Support the monthly and annual close process in compliance with GAAP and FINRA regulations

Assist in preparing FOCUS reports, financial statements, and audit support schedules

Reconcile brokerage transactions and clearing firm statements

Maintain regulatory compliance and internal control standards

Collaborate across departments to troubleshoot discrepancies and enhance processes
Staff Accountant Requirements:

Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance

1–3 years of experience within a broker-dealer or financial services environment

Familiarity with SEC and FINRA accounting/reporting standards

Excel wizardry and proficiency in financial platforms (QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.)

Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
