Job Description
Our client, the second largest independent consulting firm in the world, is looking to add a Staff Accountant to their team due to growth in the company. Our client provides compensation data for a variety of different industries to ensure companies are educated on market data. In this role, you will work closing with the Controller and accounting team to support various duties in the department.

Staff Accountant Responsibilities:
  • Assist with Accounts Receivable, including recording client receipts, follow up with consultants and clients regarding delinquencies and maintaining reconciling/tracking spreadsheets
  • Assist with Accounts Payable, preparing payment schedules, entering payment information, performing General Ledger reconciliations and analysis and working with vendors to resolve payment issues
  • Assist with month-end schedules, account reconciliations and year-end close process
  • Assist with the implementation of a new accounting system

Staff Accountant Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • 1-2 years of experience in accounting with a preference for professional services/partnership accounting experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
