Job Description
A national financial services company is in search of a Staff Accountant to join their accounting team.
This organization has been pushing to expand their national presence and hire top talent from some of the nation’s most innovative companies.

The ideal candidate for this Staff Accountant position will have experience working in a position that touches many aspects of corporate accounting. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide breadth of accounting functions.

Applicants must have at least one year of staff accountant experience to apply.

Staff Accountant Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the month end close process and various monthly journal entries
  • Prepare quarterly forecasts and the annual budget
  • Participate in ad hoc special projects
  • Support internal and external audits

Staff Accountant Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred
  • 1+ year of relevant work experience in accounting required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and working with large data files in Excel required
